2018 Ryder Cup: to be broadcast in more than 180 countries, with 6 hours on free-TV in host France

The 2018 Ryder Cup, which showcases the best American golfers against their European counterparts at the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines National Golf Course, southwest of Paris (FRA), will be broadcast in more than 180 countries from 28 to 30/09/2018. The Canal+ group, the broadcaster in the host country France, will broadcast the entire event on its pay-TV channels, but also with six hours on its free-TV channel.

In the United Kingdom, Germany and Italy, it will be the pay-TV group Sky that will broadcast the competition, while in Spain it will be Movistar+, a subsidiary of the telecommunications and pay-TV group Telefonica.

In the United States, the broadcasting group NBC (a subsidiary of the American conglomerate Comcast), which holds the rights of the competition until 2030, will broadcast the entire competition on its Golf channel (pay-TV) and 17 hours live on the national, free-TV NBC channel.
