SD Eibar: a record turnover of €47.8m (+11%) and a net profit of €13.5m in 2017-18

SD Eibar (LaLiga Santander) posted a turnover of €47.8m during the 2017-18 fiscal year (from 01/07/2017 to 30/06/2018), an 11% increase compared to 2016-17 (€43m), according to the club on 21/09/2018. This turnover is the highest in the history of the Basque club.

The club's operating profit in 2017-18 was €14.1m versus €12.4m during the previous fiscal year. Net profit also increased to €13.5m in 2017-18, compared to €10.8m in 2016-17.

TV rights were the main source of revenue for SD Eibar, generating €42.7m, or 89% of the club's total revenue in 2017-18.

The club's wage bill was €30.7m, up 29.2% compared to the previous year (€23.8m) and represented 64.3% of the club's revenue, compared to 55% in 2016-17.

• SD Eibar finished ninth in the 2017-18 LaLiga Santander Spanish first division (20 clubs); naming rights contract to the bank Santander since 2016. with 51 points (14 wins, 9 draws, 15 losses).
