LaLiga: "With Unilever, we really enter the daily life of people" (G. Bolle, global partnerships)

"This partnership with Unilever allows us to send a strong message. LaLiga is a worldwide entertainment platform, already associated with global brands, but this is the first time that we will really be able to activate a partnership in the everyday life of our fans, wherever they are on the planet," said Grégory Bolle, head of global partnerships at LaLiga, to News Tank Football on 28/09/2018.

On the same day, Unilever, a Dutch group producing and distributing Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), has become an official global partner of LaLiga for three seasons (2018-2021), on 28/09/2018. The amount of the agreement is more than €4m per season, according to information confirmed by News Tank Football.

The partnership will be activated through the Rexona brands (deodorants, also called Sure, Degree or Shield depending on the markets) or Clear (shampoos and cosmetics). This is a second level agreement in the sponsorship hierarchy of the Spanish Professional Football League (at the same level as Nike, Tag Heuer and EA Sports).
