Women's World Cup France 2019: "Preparation money" and a "Club Benefits Programme" proposed by FIFA

One of the items on the agenda of FIFA's Organising Committee (OC) meeting in Zurich (SUI), chaired by Aleksander Ceferin (FIFA vice-president and UEFA president), on 01/10/2018, "was a proposal to increase the prize money for the FIFA Women's World Cup France 2019," said FIFA, the same day.

The allocation "will include preparation money for the first time, as well as funds for a Club Benefits Programme," said the international federation, who added that "the details of the package will be further reviewed by the Finance Committee before being put forward for the approval of the FIFA Council, which is due to meet in Kigali (RWA) on 26/10/2018."

The 2019 Women's World Cup will be hosted in France from Friday 07/06 to Sunday 07/07/2019 across nine cities: Grenoble, Le Havre, Lyon, Montpellier, Nice, Paris, Reims, Rennes and Valenciennes.
