NBA League Pass (OTT): fans offered the chance to watch the fourth quarter of games for $1.99

The NBA League Pass, the OTT platform of the NBA, from the 2018-19 season, will be giving fans the opportunity "to purchase a single game on NBA League Pass from the end of the third quarter to the conclusion of the game for $1.99 (€1.71, on 02/10/2018) via Turner's streaming service Bleacher Report Live," explained the National Basketball Association on 27/09/2018.

"Starting in early December, fans will have the additional option to buy a single game at reduced prices at the beginning of each quarter. The base price for an entire single game will remain at $6.99 (€6.03). NBA Digital is also developing an option to enable fans to purchase 10 minutes of real-time game access. Details regarding the future launch of that offering will be announced at a later date," added the league.

The NBA previously carried out a test by offering a broadcast of the fourth quarter of the regular season Oklahoma City Thunder - Miami Heat game on NBA League Pass, for $0.99 (€0.80) on Saturday 24/03/2018, according to the American technology news website The Verge.
