AC Milan: Club now has two managing directors, Barbara Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani

AC Milan (Serie A, ITA) now has two vice presidents/managing directors. Adriano Galliani will oversee the sporting side of the club, while Barbara Berlusconi will oversee all other sectors, including the commercial aspect of the club, said a club statement, issued after a meeting of the Board of Directors, on the 19/12/2013.

"First and foremost AC Milan is Berlusconi’s but also mine. There is complete willingness on my part to collaborate and work alongside Barbara Berlusconi, especially as I’ve watched her grow up. She was born on the very same day as me, July 30, albeit quite a few years later (exactly 40 years, he in 1944, she in 1984), there is no problem," Adriano Galliani said.

"With or without compensation, I will resign in a few days," Adriano Galliani said on the 29/11/2013. He felt pushed out by Barbara Berlusconi, daughter of owner Silvio Berlusconi. She criticised his management and demanded a "change of direction in the philosophy of the company."
