Ryder Cup 2018: an average of 2.71 million viewers on NBC (+23% vs 2014)

The Ryder Cup 2018 (victory for Europe versus the United States 17.5 to 10.5), played on the Albatross course at Le Golf National in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (FRA) on Friday 28/09 to Sunday 30/09/2018, posted an increased average audience per competition day on NBC, compared to the last edition of the Ryder Cup organised Europe in Gleneagles (SCO) in 2014, according to the free-TV channel, on 01/10/2018.

An average of 2.31 million US viewers watched the competition on Saturday (between 07:00 and 12.30 eastern time) and 2.71 million on Sunday on the same time slot. This represented respective increases of 21% and 23% over the two days compared to the 2014 edition.

An average of 765,000 viewers (from 02:00 to 12:20 on the east coast of the United States) watched the first day of competition on NBC group's Golf Channel (pay-TV). This represented an increase of 12% compared to the 2014 edition.
