Ligue 1 Conforama: Olympique Lyonnais opens an urban art gallery within the Groupama Stadium

Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 Conforama), in partnership with the Lyon-based street art collective Birdy Kids, have opened the "Offside Gallery", an area dedicated to urban art within the Groupama Stadium (57,206 capacity), according the French club on 04/10/2018.

Inaugurated on 06/10/2018, "the Offside Gallery project serves a dual purpose: to open urban art to the general public while leaving an indelible mark for current and future generations," added the club. While the gallery currently occupies the southwestern part of the Groupama Stadium, it is expected that it will eventually extend throughout the entire stadium.

"Welcoming new artists each month over a period of several years, the perpetual change of the gallery assures the public an ever-changing experience, with a large number of artists appearing there over time, eventually creating the largest permanent urban art gallery in the world," said Olympique Lyonnais.
