Arsenal FC (Premier League) and the German equipment manufacturer adidas "have agreed a new kit partnership, effective from 01/07/2019," announced the London club on 08/10/2018.

The duration of the contract is a five-year period (2019-2024) and will be valued at £300m (€341.4m on 08/10/2018), or £60m (€68.3m) per season, according to British media, which reported information of the deal on 27 and 28/08/2018.

This value of the contract is double what Puma pays to the London club each season during the 2014-2019 cycle (£30m/€34.1m). The agreement would give Arsenal the second most lucrative equipment deal of the Premier League clubs, tied with Chelsea FC (Nike, 2017-2027) and behind Manchester United FC (adidas, 2015-2025, £75m/€85.4m per season).

Arsenal and adidas are already working on the design of the 2019-20 kits, according to British media on 28/08/2018. The German brand was previously Arsenal FC's equipment supplier during the 1986-1994 period. The equipment manufacturer is the most represented in the Premier League in 2018-19, with 6 clubs under contract.
