CONMEBOL: Facebook Watch to broadcast CONMEBOL Libertadores matches for 2019-2022 (4 seasons)

The social network Facebook has acquired, for Facebook Watch (VOD service of the social network), the rights to broadcast CONMEBOL Libertadores (formerly Copa Libertadores) matches, in the countries of the South American confederation throughout the 2019-2022 cycle (four seasons), on 05/10/2018.

Facebook acquires:
• Exclusive rights to broadcast 27 live matches per season (all Thursday matches) in all 10 countries of the CONMEBOL zone (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela).
• The non-exclusive broadcast rights, to 19 matches per season, one game per matchday (Tuesday or Wednesday), in CONMEBOL zone countries, excluding Brazil.

"New broadcasting agreements will soon be announced with other mass media in the region," said the South American confederation.
