Rugby: DAZN acquires the rights to broacast the European Cups in 6 countries for the 2018-2022 cycle

The OTT platform DAZN has acquired the rights to broadcast the European Rugby Cups (Heineken Champions Cup and Challenge Cup), in Canada, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Japan and Italy, for the 2018-2022 cycle, on 08/10/2018.

These rights were acquired from the UK agency RDA, the international media rights holder (excluding France, United Kingdom, Ireland and the United States) of the European Rugby Cups for the 2018-2022 cycle, since 28/03/2018.

The 2018-19 season of the European Rugby Cups, organised by EPCR, begins on Friday 12/10/2018.
