France: the LFP joins European project LIAISE to promotes the role of the supporter engagement

"As part of its collaboration with the association 'Supporter Direct Europe', the Professional Football League becomes a contributing organization to the European project Liaison-based Integrated Approach to Improving Support Engagement," said the LFP on 08/10/2018.

"The Professional Football League is strengthening its commitments at the European level to work on issues related to supporterism. While the first training sessions of supporters referents were set up in the spring of 2018, the LFP is very happy to announce that it joins the European project LIAISE," emphasized the French League.

Led by "Supporter Direct Europe", LIAISE benefits from the Erasmus+ label funded by the European Commission. Created in January 2018, this project brings together many European unions of supporters' groups (National Fan Associations, Professional Leagues, National Federations, UEFA, see below).
