AS Roma: a record turnover of €250.9m in 2017-18 (+43% compared to €175m in 2016-17)

AS Roma (Serie A TIM) posted a record turnover of €250.9m (excluding capital gains on player transfers) in the 2017-18 financial year (from 01/07/2017 to 30/06/2018), an increase of 43% over the 2016-17 financial year (€175m), according to the accounts approved by the club's board of directors on 05/10/2017.

AS Roma posted an EBITDA of €66.7m on 30/06/2018, an increase of €24.4m (+55%) compared to in 2016-17. The club experienced a net loss of €25.5m in 2017-18, versus a loss of €42m the previous season.

"The 2017-18 financial year was marked by the sports results of the first team in the Champions League until the semi-finals of the competition, which allowed us to obtain matchday revenue (€77.2m, +119%) and TV rights (€128.6m, +22%) significantly higher than the previous year, which was characterised by the elimination of the club in the Champions League play-offs and its participation in the Europa League until the Round of 16," said AS Roma.
