Nations League: bonuses and solidarity payments revalued, €10.5m for the overall winner

"UEFA has announced it will increase UEFA Nations League payments for the current edition of the tournament, which started in September. This will see a 50% rise in solidarity fees given to all 55 national associations who are taking part in the competition," said the European body on 10/10/2018.

The 12 national teams in League A will receive €2.25m instead of €1.5m, the 12 teams of League B will be given €1.5m rather than €1m, the 15 League C teams will receive €1.125m instead of €0.75m and the 16 League D teams €0.75m compared to €0.5m originally.

The group winners of Leagues A, B, C and D will also be entitled to an additional bonus, which has also been increased by 50% (see table below).

"The four group winners of League A will play for the UEFA Nations League trophy in June 2019 (from 05 to 09/06/2019)," added UEFA. The solidarity payments for these four teams have been upgraded (see table below). The winner of the first edition of the competition will receive a total of €10.5m.
