LaLiga Santander: composition and progression of turnover of FC Barcelona

FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) posted €914m in revenue for the 2017-18 financial year, an increase of 29% over the 2016-17 fiscal year (€708m).

The proceeds from player transfers amounted to €228m in 2017-18 (€73m in 2016-17) and represented 25% of the revenue generated by the Catalan club. This was the revenue category that increased the most during the year (+213%), ahead of marketing revenue (sponsorship, merchandising, summer tour) up 13% to €299m.

Operating profit amounted to €32m and net profit after tax to €13m (compared to €18m in 2016-17). EBITDA reached €177m. FC Barcelona has presented a projected budget of €960m for the 2018-19 season.
