eSports: Epsilon eSports becomes a partner of Manchester City to participate in Gfinity Elite Series

Epsilon eSports, a Belgian company specialised in eSports, has become a partner of Manchester City FC (Premier League) on 11/10/2018. "The collaboration sees Manchester City eSports join Epsilon's slot in the Gfinity Elite Series (eSports competition, fourth edition) to compete in the FIFA 19 category," said the club.

"Manchester City's and Epsilon's professional eSports players will make up half of the team with the remaining players chosen through the Elite Draft. Season 4 kicks off on the weekend of 26th October, with 10 teams competing in the eight-week tournament for a spot in the grand final, to be played on 07/12 or 08/12/2018," said the Mancunian club.

Manchester City FC launched its eSports team by recruiting Kieran Brown, a professional eSports player and FIFA video game (published by EA Sports) specialist on 06/07/2016.
