FFF: the YouTube channel reaches 1 million subscribers, a world record for a football federation

The YouTube channel of the French Football Federation (FFF) has reached the 1 million subscribers mark on 15/10/2018. The FFF is one of 211 National Federations affiliated to FIFA, and has the most subscribers on YouTube. Launched on 24/04/2012, the channel totals more than 4,430 videos with over 256 million views, on 16/10/2018.

For comparison, the number of YouTube subscribers for channels of other European Top 5 national teams/federations (figures as of 16/10/2018):
• England: 785,470
• Italy: 180,370
• Germany: 90,740
• Spain: 67,280

The Twitter account of the French national team passed the four million followers mark in October 2018 (fourth in the world behind the accounts of the Mexican, Colombian and Brazilian national teams/federations).
