"We have the commercial approach of any other sport with a franchise model. What’s most attractive about our audience is that its global and young (around 20 years old)," said Nate Nanzer, vice-president and commissioner of the Overwatch League, at the 2018 Leaders Sport Business Summit, featuring News Tank Football at Stamford Bridge, home of Chelsea FC (Premier League), in London (ENG), on 10/10/2018.

"The goal is to reach 28 franchises based in big cities, markets with a high concentration of existing Overwatch players, and from there, you have to know how to find the right owners," said the leader whose league will reach 20 franchises in 2019 (see below). Overwatch  is a first person, team and online shooter developed by Blizzard Entertainment and marketed since 25/05/2016. The Overwatch League is a professional world championship whose inaugural season took place in 2018 with 12 franchises each based in a major city.
