DFB: Fanatics, official merchandising distributor of the German federation from January 2019

Fanatics, a US manufacturer and distributor of licensed sports products, has become the official merchandising distributor of the DFB "from January 2019," according to the DFB on 18/10/2018.

As part of the agreement, Fanatics will manage "design and production of fan apparel, accessories, souvenirs and memorabilia as well as their global distribution via all online and physical channels. Fanatics also takes over the operation of the DFB fan shop including the associated online marketing. Similarly, the company will cover the sale of merchandise in stadiums for national team home games, said the DFB.

"The cooperation with Fanatics allows us to constantly expand our range of products and better meet the needs of our fans. We can also lead the internationalisation of our brands with Fanatics, and we know that we have the ideal partner for us, especially in the e-commerce sector," said Denni Strich, CEO of DFB GmbH.
