LaLiga Santander: Atlético de Madrid reaches a record 123,043 members

Club Atlético de Madrid (LaLiga Santander) "has now reached 123,043 members" a club record, announced the Spanish club on 16/10/2018. The 2018 Europa League champions had crossed the 100,000 members mark in February 2017, finally reaching the figure of 122,190 at the end of the 2017-18 season.

57,718 Atlético de Madrid members (or 46.9% of the total) are season ticket holders at the Wanda Metropolitano (67,703 capacity). The 65,325 non-season ticket holders have several advantages (invitation to a match, discounts, priority for certain matches, free access to youth and women's team matches) in exchange for their membership. The club member card for non-season ticket holders costs €50 per season.

"On 16/09/2018 the Wanda Metropolitano turned one year old. Transferring to our new home has driven the growth of the Atleti family thanks to the new season ticket holders who enjoy the games played at our new stadium," said the Madrid club.
