Premier League: adidas, the most represented equipment supplier in 2018-19 (six clubs)

With six of the 20 clubs under contract (30%), the German brand adidas is the most represented equipment supplier in the Premier League in 2018-19. adidas reclaims its title as the most represented equipment supplier of the Premier League which it held from 2014-15 to 2016-17, until it was dethroned by rival German brand Puma in 2017-18.

adidas are ahead of Puma, Nike and Umbro, who each supply four English Premier League clubs in 2018-19. In total, six brands are represented in the Premier League in 2018-19 (adidas, Puma, Nike, Umbro, New Balance and Under Armour), the lowest total for the English league since 2012-13 (date of the first survey carried out by News Tank Football).

Four equipment supplier partnerships (20%) began in 2018-19, as many as in 2017-18 and 2016-17. At least four partnerships are coming to an end in 2018-19 and involve some of the league's major clubs including: Arsenal FC (Puma), Manchester City FC (Nike), Liverpool FC (New Balance) and Everton FC (Umbro). That's as many as in 2017-18, and one more than in 2016-17.
