Ligue 1 Conforama: AS Monaco opens an official account on the Russian social network Vkontakte

"AS Monaco FC (Ligue 1 Conforama) is continuing its international development on social media with the opening of its Vkontakte page in Russia," announced the club on 19/10/2018.

"Being closer to its fans worldwide, increasing its visibility and offering innovative and adapted content is AS Monaco's goal. By opening an official page on VKontakte, AS Monaco will also allow Russian football fans to closely follow news on Aleksandr Golovin, the Russian international midfielder who arrived this summer," added the Monegasque club that will be offering daily "content adapted allowing fans to follow all club and player news, as well as discover the history of the 'Rouge et Blanc' ("Red and White", colours of the club) and the Principality."

AS Monaco, whose majority shareholder is Russian businessman Dmitry Rybolovlev (since 2011), is the 11^th Ligue 1 Conforama club (see below) to open an official account on VKontakte, the main Russian social network with nearly 100 million users.
