Serie A TIM: Macron, the most represented equipment supplier in 2018-19 with 5 clubs under contract

With five of the 20 clubs (25%) under contract, the Italian brand Macron is the most represented equipment supplier in the Serie A TIM in 2018-19, for the third consecutive season, after 2017-18 (four clubs) and 2016-17 (three clubs, tied with Nike, Joma and Kappa).

In 2018-19, Macron is ahead of fellow Italian brand, Kappa (four clubs). In total, the Italian equipment manufacturers equip 13 clubs (65% of the clubs of the league), a record since 2014-15 (14 clubs in 2013-14 and 15 clubs in 2012-13, date of the first survey conducted by News Tank Football).

Four equipment supplier partnerships (20%) began in 2018-19, compared to two in 2017-18 and one in 2016-17. Only one partnership comes to an end in 2018-19 (versus four in 2017-18 and five in 2016-17), while five partnerships will end in 2019-20, including Kappa with Torino FC and Societa Sportiva Calcio Napoli, and Le Coq Sportif with ACF Fiorentina.
