Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Conforama) has launched PSG.LGD eSports and created a new team on the FIFA Online 4 video game, a multiplayer version derived from the FIFA video game, in China, on 19/10/2018. The launch of this team is in partnership with Webedia, a French group specialised in online recreation and entertainment, as well as with the Chinese eSports club LGD Gaming.

The creation of this franchise is part of a plan to expand and internationalise Webedia's eSports activities, presented on 19/10/2018, which also includes the launch of the new club "LeStream Esport" and the French web TV "LeStream", from the Webedia brand.

This is the fourth PSG eSports team (on FIFA 19, Rocket League, Dota 2 and FIFA Online 4). "The team is composed of three Chinese players and the French PSG eSports player 'Maniika', winner of the Orange e-Ligue 1 in 2016-17, who will accompany them throughout the 2018-19 season," said Webedia.
