2017-18 Champions League: UEFA distributed €1.412bn to the 32 participating clubs

"The (32) clubs that participated in the 2017-18 UEFA Champions League group stage and the ten eliminated in the play-offs have shared more than €1.412bn in payouts from UEFA (full table available to download)," announced the European confederation on 25/10/2018.

"€50m was shared among the 20 clubs that took part in the (qualifying) play-offs. The ten clubs that went through to the UEFA Champions League group stage received €2m each, with the other ten, who joined the UEFA Europa League group stage, each receiving €3m," said UEFA.

Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander), the winner of the competition for the third season in a row (3-1 in the final versus Liverpool FC in Kiev on 26/05/2018), received the largest sum: €88.65m.

Three other clubs received more than €80m:
• Liverpool FC (Premier League), finalist (€81.28m).
• AS Roma (Serie A TIM), semi-finalist (€83.8m).
• Juventus FC (Serie A TIM), quarter-finalist (€80.05m).
