2017-18 Europa League: UEFA distributed €428.18m to participating clubs

UEFA distributed €428.183m to the 48 clubs that participated in the 2017-18 Europa League group stage, as well as to the eight UEFA Champions League clubs that joined the competition in the Round of 32, versus €423.1m in 2016-17 (full table available to download), according to the European confederation on 25/10/2018.

Thanks to the market pool (share redistributed according to the TV market), it was Arsenal FC (Premier League) who received the largest sum (€37.77m), despite the club's elimination in the semi-final of the competition (1-1, 0-1) versus the overall winners of the competition, Club Atlético de Madrid (LaLiga Santander), on 26/04 and 03/05/2018.

The Madrid club received €16.12m for it's participation in the 2017-18 Europa League, but also received €31.73m from UEFA for the 2017-18 Champions League, from which the club was eliminated during the group stage, for a total of €47.85m.

Defeated in the final by Atlético de Madrid (3-0, Lyon, 16/05/2018), Olympique de Marseille (Ligue 1 Conforama) received €22.96m.
