FC Internazionale Milano: Steven Zhang (CHN, Suning International), 26, appointed president

Steven Zhang (born on 21/12/1991) has been named as president of FC Internazionale Milano (Serie A TIM), "at the club's annual shareholders' meeting held at Hotel Magna Pars Suites in Milan (ITA) on 26/10/2018," according to the Italian club on 26/10/2018. The young Chinese businessman succeeds the Indonesian businessman Erick Thohir, who had been the president of the club since November 2013.

Steven Zhang is the president of Suning International, owned by Suning Holdings Group (Chinese multinational company and majority shareholder of Inter Milan with an annual turnover of around €69bn), and whose father, Jindong Zhang, is the CEO. Also a member of the UEFA club competitions committee, "Steven Zhang is acknowledged as one of the most influential young business leaders in China," said Inter Milan.

"Today, I am extremely proud to lead this club into a new era. I feel the responsibility to satisfy the passion of the millions of fans all over the world and, I am more than ready to accept the challenge of president in this, the 110^th year of this prestigious club," said Steven Zhang.
