FC Girondins de Bordeaux: Frédéric Longuépée to be appointed president "within four to eight weeks"

Frédéric Longuépée, CCO of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024 since July 2018, will be appointed as president-delegue of Girondins de Bordeaux (Ligue 1 Conforama) "within four to eight weeks," announced Joseph DaGrosa, co-founder and CEO (with David Neithardt) of the private equity firm General American Capital Partners (GACP), on 28/10/2018.

The arrival of Frédéric Longuépée is part of the change in ownership at the head of Girondins de Bordeaux, of which the US investment fund GACP should officially become the majority shareholder of the French club in early November 2018 (see below), after acquiring the shareholding from the audiovisual M6 Group.

The former deputy managing director in charge of the commercial activities at Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Conforama) from February 2012 to June 2018, Frédéric Longuépée will succeed Stéphane Martin, who has been president of the Bordeaux club since 09/03/2017.
