Premier League: "We will pay a very, very significant amount, but less than SFR" (M. Saada, Canal+)

"If we look at English football rights, it was €4m for Canal (cycle 2001-2004), €12m for TPS (2004-2007), €25m for Canal (2010-2013), and €63m for Canal (2013-2016), then €120m at SFR (2016-2019). Canal+ has acquired the rights to broadcast the Premier League in France for the 2019-2022 cycle and will replace RMC Sport, a subsidiary of Altice Europe, the current rights holder in France, for the 2016-2019 cycle.
