FC Barcelona: three Barça Academies to open in Yunnan province (CHN), making a total of six in China

FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) will open three football schools in the Chinese province of Yunnan (south-west of the country, population of 45 million), bringing the number of "Barça Academies" to six in China and 49 throughout the world, according to the Catalan club, on 30/10/2018.

The three schools will be located in the cities of Lijiang (population: 1.1 million), Kunming (4 million) and one near Lake Fuxian. Added to those in the provinces of Chengdu, Qingdao and Haikou, China is the country with the second most "Barça Academies" in the world behind the United States (eight).

"These new schools are part of the plan to promote football development in Yunnan Province. They will be managed by Yunnan Investment Sports and Yuxi Fuxian Lake Protection Development and Investment Co., Ltd.
