CONMEBOL: Qatar Airways (airline) partner of the South American Confederation until 2022

Qatar Airways has become an official partner of CONMEBOL "for four and a half years, for the 2019-2022 commercial cycle", on 31/10/2018. Qatar Airways becomes the airline of club competitions organized by the South American Confederation (Copa America, Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana).

The agreement was concluded on behalf of the Confederation by FC Diez Media, a consortium formed by IMG and Perform Group (DAZN group) to manage the commercial rights of CONMEBOL. FC Diez Media has acquired the worldwide distribution of the media and marketing rights of CONMEBOL club competitions for the 2019-2022 cycle, on 27/09/2017.

"Our company is constantly looking to expand our global sponsorship portfolio and this agreement with CONMEBOL is another example of this commitment to sport development and we are pleased to continue to expand our presence in South America and support CONMEBOL in the coming years," added Akbar Al-Baker, CEO of Qatar Airways Group.
