Football Leaks: "The club firmly denies having bypassed Financial Fair Play" (AS Monaco)

"The club firmly denies having bypassed Financial Fair Play through a contract with a marketing agency, contrary to false claims published by French and European media.The published articles contain false information and many inaccuracies," stated AS Monaco (Ligue 1 Conforama) on 05/11/2018.

The French news site Mediapart, and 14 other European media grouped within the European Investigative Collaborations (EIC), "back for the second season of Football Leaks", accuse Russian oligarch Dmitri Rybolovlev (majority shareholder and president of AS Monaco) of having tried to hide his subsidies to AS Monaco behind a fictitious marketing contract and an offshore installation via the British Virgin Islands and Hong Kong," according to the Football Leaks report on 05/11/2018.
