"The new license includes the possibility of naming the stadium, which would allow us to add the name of a partner to the existing name of Parc des Princes. This is only a possibility and we evaluate the potential benefits at € 8m per year," said Jean-Claude Blanc, Chief Operating Officer of Paris Saint-Germain, on the 16/12/2013.

About the naming of the stadium, "nothing is actually scheduled and the City of Paris will be able to examine the proposed name," said Jean-Claude Blanc.

Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1) and the City of Paris extended the lease agreement of the Parc des Princes (45,000 seats) for 30 years, on the 26/11/2013. The contract between both parties runs until 2044. The annual fee paid by Paris Saint-Germain to the City of Paris to occupy the stadium will rise from € 400,000 in 2013 to 1 million € in 2014. A variable portion of Paris SG's revenue could increase the total amount of the fee to € 4 million per year by 2024, according to Vicherat Mathias, Chief of Staff of Bertrand Delanoë, Mayor of Paris, on the 26/11/2013.
