The 97 clubs (SSC Napoli does not sell a season ticket in 2018-19) involved in the Top 5 European leagues during the 2018-19 season have an average of 22,337 season ticket holders. This figure represents 58% of the total capacity of the stadiums that host the clubs of the Top 5 this season.

With an average of 29,320, LaLiga Santander is the Top 5 league with the highest number of season ticket holders in 2018-19. The Spanish league is ahead of the Premier League (27,175), Bundesliga (25,780), Serie A TIM (16,290) and Ligue 1 Conforama (13,165). LaLiga Santander is also the league where the stadium's season ticket holder/capacity ratio is the highest, with holders occupying 82% of the available seats in the Spanish venues. This ratio is only 43% in France, the lowest percentage of the Top 5.

With 85,000 in 2018-19, FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) counts the most season ticket holders, ahead of two other Spanish clubs: Real Madrid CF (61,287) and Club Atlético de Madrid (57,718). Twelve Top 5 European clubs -- all either Spanish, German or English -- have at least 40,000 season ticket…
