Al Jazeera Sport and beIN Sport to become "beIN Sports" from the 01/01/2014

Pay-TV sports channel beIN Sport has changed its logo and will become "beIN Sports" from the 01/01/2014, the French subsidiary of the Qatari group announced, on the 11/12/2013.

"This development represents the great diversity of sports beIN Sports offers to its subscribers throughout the year on all its channels. Football, rugby, basketball, handball, cycling, boxing, NFL, athletics, judo and tennis in January," said the channel launched in France in June 2012.

Qatari television group Al Jazeera Sport, parent company of beIN Sport, and other beIN Sport channels around the world (United States and Canada, Indonesia, Philippines and Hong Kong), will also be renamed "beIN Sports" from the 01/01/2014, declared the French subsidiary to NTF, on the 16/12/2013.
