Tottenham Hotspur FC: Wembley's capacity reduced to 51,000 for Premier League games

"Whilst Wembley National Stadium Ltd has been able to assign us a number of full capacity games, the restriction on the number of full capacity events available to WNSL each year means that our remaining Premier League fixtures after Chelsea FC (Premier League, on 24/11/2018) will be capped at 51,000 unless otherwise advised," stated Tottenham Hotspur FC on 11/11/2018.

Brent Council, the local authority in the London (ENG) district where Wembley Stadium is located, imposes a limited number of events each year on Wembley National Stadium Ltd. (WNSL), the company in charge of the operating of the stadium, which take place at Wembley in its full capacity configuration, in order to regulate the influx of people on public transport, the mobilisation of law enforcement and security forces, and thus preserve the residents.
