Football Leaks: "Cases may be re-opened in case of the abuse of financial fair play" (UEFA)

"If new information comes to light (regarding the respect of financial fair play regulations) that may be material to this assessment, UEFA will use that to challenge the figures and will seek explanation, clarification or rebuttal from the club concerned. Should new information suggest that previously concluded cases have been abused, those cases may be capable of being re-opened as determined on a case-by-case basis," announced UEFA on 13/11/2018. 

This is UEFA's first official reaction to the recent "Football Leaks" report, which began on 02/11/2018, on the initiative of 15 European media outlets grouped within the European Investigative Collaborations. The EIC, which analysed "more than 70 million documents over eight months", accuses UEFA of having been party to "the laundering more than €6bn of cash injections", notably with Manchester City FC (Premier League) and Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Conforama).
