Premier League: Susanna Dinnage to become chief executive of the English league in 2019

The British businesswoman Susanna Dinnage has been named as the new chief executive of the Premier League, announced the English league on 13/11/2018. "Dinnage will commence her role early in 2019. The Premier League clubs have already agreed to split (current chief executive) Richard Scudamore's role, with Dinnage becoming chief executive, and the search for a non-executive Chair will now commence," added the Premier League.

Susanna Dinnage, global president of Discovery's Animal Planet channel since 08/11/2017, will replace Richard Scudamore who is due to step down at the end of the year (31/12/2018). Scudamore was named chief executive of the Premier League in November 1999 and has held the position of executive chairman since June 2014.

Prior to joining Discovery Networks United Kingdom and Ireland in Janurary 2009, Dinnage worked for the British free-to-air Channel 5 (Viacom property) as schedules and planning director.
