Premier League: West Bromwich to partner with Q App to enable mobile ordering within the stadium

Q App, a mobile application to reduce queuing for an order in a cafe or restaurant, has partnered with West Bromwich Albion (Premier League), the start-up announced, on the 07/01/2014. The English club is the first Premier League club to use this system in a stadium.

Fans coming to The Hawthorns Stadium (26,200 seats), in the suburbs of Birmingham, have now the ability to order and pay purchases from their mobile phones. After downloading the application, users have access to a map of bars and catering kiosks, they select their items, then pay via a secure interface and receive a notification on their mobile when the order is ready.

The purpose of this innovation for the club is to ease purchases and process more orders. Special offers will also be proposed, to promote this solution. Q App enables the fans to avoid queuing and not having to bring cash or a credit card at the stadium.
