Liverpool FC: club renews its commitment to developing football in Kunming (China)

"Liverpool FC (Premier League) has renewed its commitment to support a youth coaching programme in the Chinese city of Kunming (Yunnan Province capital), in a long-term partnership with the Kunming Municipal Bureau of Education," said the Merseyside club on 07/11/2018.

"Announced on Wednesday at the inaugural China International Import Expo (CIIE), the partnership will see the Reds continue to deliver football coaching to school children at the International Academy in Kunming during term-time in a professional environment. Eighty local coaches have also taken part in a dedicated coach education programme to help improve coaching standards in Kunming," said the club.

The LFC International Academy in Kunming, inaugurated on 24/04/2018, is the club's fourth in Asia and its twenty-eighth throughout the world (see below).
