CONMEBOL unveils "Ordem", the Nike ball for the 2014 Copa Libertadores

CONMEBOL (the South American Football Confederation) has unveiled the "Ordem" football (first word of Brazil's slogan, "Ordem e Progresso", "Order and Progress"), the Official Nike ball of the 2014 Copa Libertadores, on the 07/01/2014. It will be used for the first time at the opening of the competition, on the 28/01/2014 between Oriente Petrolero (BOL) and Nacional of Montevideo (URU).

"Ordem" is equiped with "AEROWTRAC" technology, which offers a new touch, and RaDaR technology (Rapid Decision and Response), which maximises the visibility of the ball, and offers "unprecedented performances that promise to improve the reaction, touch and trajectory", said Nike.

The colors of the ball are the result of a mixture of ten flags of South America intertwined with the names of each countries.

The 55^th edition of the Copa Libertadores will be held from the 28/01 to the 13/08/2014.
