Manchester City: £400,000 dedicated to six social projects and distributed according to a fan vote

The Cityzens Giving campaign, a Manchester City FC (Premier League) initiative that aims to support football-related social projects around the world, "has returned for a fifth consecutive year," announced the club on 14/11/2018. The total amount of £400,000 (€460,000) will be divided between six projects (see list below), based on votes from the club's fans.

The allocated amount "will fund community football projects delivered by inspiring young leaders who are attempting to tackle pressing societal issues. The more votes a project gets the more funding it will receive," added Manchester City FC.

During the 2017 edition launched on 15/11/2017, Cityzens Giving received more than 770,000 votes worldwide, which was a record number of participants. The closing of the votes for the 2018 edition is scheduled on 24/12/2018.
