Eredivisie: Ajax opens an office in New York (USA) to develop its brand on the American continent

"AFC Ajax (Eredivisie) take next step in international expansion with New York (USA) office," announced the Amsterdam club on 13/11/2018.

"The popularity of soccer in the United States is increasing and the appeal of Ajax is also on the rise. With a US office, the club expects to reach even more fans and positively influence the future of soccer. In part by inspiring American youth to develop their full potential. The other goal is to connect companies and clubs in the US to the Ajax brand," added the club.

"The expansion is a perfect fit for the club's plans for international expansion. Ajax already entered into partnerships with clubs in China (Guangzhou R&F FC, CSL, on 27/11/2017), Japan (Sagan Tosu, J. League, on 25/01/2018) and Australia (Sydney FC, Hyundai A-League, 03/04/2018) this year and has now taken a next step with the opening of this office," said Ajax who will participate in the Florida Cup, in Orlando (Florida, USA) in January 2019, versus the Brazilian clubs Sao Paulo FC and Clube de Regatas Flamengo.
