Euro 2020: draw for the qualification phase at the Convention Centre Dublin (IRL) on 02/12/2018

The draw for the Euro 2020 qualification phase, which will divide the 55 national team under UEFA jurisdiction into 10 groups, five with five teams (Groups A to E) and five with six (Groups F to J), will take place at the Convention Centre Dublin (Republic of Ireland), on Sunday 02/12/2018, at noon CET.

The UEFA Executive Committee decided on 06/12/2012 to organize a "Euro for Europe" in 2020, rather than giving it to one or two host countries. This decision embodied an idea put forward by Michel Platini (FRA), then UEFA president, to celebrate the 60^th anniversary of the first European Championship of Nations, held in 1960.

The Executive Committee confirmed on 25/01/2013 that the final phase of Euro 2020 would be organized in 13 European cities. Their number was reduced to 12 (see list below) on 07/12/2017, when the four matches planned in Brussels (BEL) were moved to London (ENG), due to the failure of the Eurostadium project in fulfill the conditions imposed by UEFA.
