UK: Steve Sayer appointed vice-president and general manager of The O2 Arena (London)

Steve Sayer has been appointed vice-president and general manager of The O2 Arena (London, UK), which includes the arena itself (a music, sports and entertainment venue), a club, a cinema, bars and restaurants, on 20/11/2018. Sayer succeeds John Langford, who has been appointed chief operating officer at Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) Europe.

Steve Sayer has been the commercial director of The O2 since 2014, where he oversaw ticketing, merchandising, catering and corporate sales. Previously, he held various positions at Manchester City FC (Premier League) as head of sponsorship and partnerships (2003-2009), chief commercial officer (2009-2010) and operations director (2010-2014).

Danielle Kennedy-Clark has been appointed deputy general manager of The O2. Kennedy-Clark has served as operations director since 2017, and previously held several positions related to site management (2010-2017).
