Serie A TIM: Frosinone Calcio to lend its football expertise to five schools in Foshan, China

Frosinone Calcio (Serie A TIM) has signed an agreement with the Football Association of Foshan (city in the Guangdong Province, southern China) to share the football expertise of the club's academy in five football schools in the city, announced the Italian club on 18/11/2018.

The signing of this agreement is "a first step in a larger project of the Chinese government (of which the Foshan Football Association is an example). The city of Foshan has a population of more than 7.5 million and an 80,000 capacity stadium, but does not yet have a football team. Frosinone Calcio will therefore be responsible for developing the training centre of the city's future club," added the club from Frosinone (Lazio region), which was promoted to Serie A TIM for the 2018-19 season.

"This historic and unique agreement opens up new opportunities for the club and guarantees it significant popularity in China. It will not only be about football, but also about opportunities for cultural and commercial exchanges between the two regions," added Frosinone Calcio.
