Footgolf: the third edition of the World Cup to be held in Marrakech, Morocco, from 09 to 16/12/2018

The third edition of the FIFG Footgolf World Cup, which will be comprised of 500 players from 36 different nations, will take place on the Al Maaden and Montgomerie golf courses in Marrakech (MAR), from 09 to 16/12/2018, according to the French Footgolf Association (AFFG).

The AFFG is organising this World Cup in collaboration with the Moroccan Footgolf Association (AFGM), the two entities that won the International Footgolf Federation's (FIFG) call for applicants on 15/11/2017. "For the past year, the Franco-Moroccan teams have been working on the preparation of this international competition and are ready to receive the 36 delegations," added the AFFG.

The competition consists of an individual tournament in three categories (men, women, seniors) and a team tournament. Youri Djorkaeff, former French international and 1998 world champion, and Noureddine Naybet, former Moroccan international, are the two ambassadors for this Footgolf World Cup. As such, they will be present in Marrakech to present the trophy to the winners.
