FFF: KFC, partner of France, sets up a "Filter Fan Cam" on big screens at the Stade de France

KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) France, the French subsidiary of the American fast food chain, has activated its partnership with the France men's national team via the "KFC Filter Fan Cam" during the France-Uruguay friendly (1-0) at the Stade de France (Saint-Denis, north of Paris), on 20/11/2018. "This is the first time we have deployed this technology in France," explained Mathieu Calas of the Aono consulting agency, which set up the system on behalf of KFC, which is used mainly in the United States by NBA franchises.

The animation, scheduled for half-time, showed virtual masks on the two giant screens of the Stade de France on the faces of the filmed spectators (see below). Three filters followed each other thanks to facial recognition technology: a blue, white and red face with two stars in place of the eyes (symbolising the two world cup titles), a KFC bucket mask and a Colonel Sanders emblem mask.
