Copa del Rey: beIN Sports extends its broadcasting rights in France (excluding the final)

The pay-TV group beIN Sports, broadcaster of the Copa del Rey in France since the 2012-13 season, has extended its rights for the competition, on 23/11/2018. The duration of the contract has not yet been specified.

These rights do not include those of the final of the competition, for which a call for tenders has not yet been launched. The free and pay-TV group Canal+ previously held these rights during the 2015-2018 cycle.

As the broadcast rights holder in France of seven live and three delayed games per Ligue 1 Conforama matchday, during the 2016-2020 cycle, beIN Sports has also extended its LaLiga Santander, Serie A TIM and Bundesliga broadcasting rights, until 2020-21, in recent months.
