Spain: Chinese businessman Zhao Zhen acquires Marbella FC (Segunda B, third division)

Guireniao Group Limited, a Hong Kong-based company represented by Chinese businessman Zhao Zhen, has acquired Marbella FC (Segunda B, Spanish third division), according to the Andalusian club on 19/11/2018. The value of the acquisition, which has not been officially communicated, is estimated at €2.85m. "Guireniao Group Limited is the majority shareholder of Guireniao Co. LTD, a company listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (China)," said Marbella FC.

"Zhao Zhen will assume the presidency of the club and thanks Alexander Grinberg (former Russian president who acquired Marbella FC in 2013), for his dedication and the work done by his entire team," added the club, which specified that they would be advised by the Spanish agency 'The Best Of You Sports SA' (representing athletes in Europe and Latin America) in order to "generate a new momentum at both sporting and structural levels".
